I’ve been so addicted to all the blogs I read daily and I finally decided to start my own! I hope that this blog is able to document my educational journey (wherever it may take me), recipes, workouts, and all the other fun things I experience and learn along the way.
I always wanted to start a blog but never got around to actually doing it, that is until I decided to incorporate blogging into my Capstone project.
The word “capstone” means the stone at the top of something. It is literally the final stone on top of the pyramid. At Richland Collegiate High School (RCHS), where I go to school, the Capstone project is the heart and soul of the curriculum. Every RCHS senior picks a topic to do their year-long Capstone research project on. My topic is asthma and allergies and how they affect the overall lifestyle and health of children.
I’ve done an extensive amount of research about this topic and the leading factors that affect it. My end product (look out for an upcoming post detailing it!) is a free neighborhood event at Bob Woodruff park AND this blog!

It has been a very stressful and intense year, but it is finally coming to an end. I will be formally presenting my Capstone to a panel of judges next week (eek I’m already anxious and nervous thinking about it haha) and then it will be over.
